Meet the Founders
Devon DeVries has built a dynamic 24-year career in the music and media industry, spanning nearly every genre, revenue stream, and creative avenue. His expertise in sync, A&R, and music marketing has shaped the success of artists and songwriters across the industry. Previously, Devon served as Global Head of Sync at 300 Entertainment / Warner Brothers via The Bus Music, VP of Creative – Film/TV Music & A&R at Big Yellow Dog Music, as well as key roles at CBS/Paramount Pictures, Extreme/Sony ATV and Sony Music Entertainment. While at 300 Entertainment he worked hand in hand with the label crafting, building and executing sync strategies for major artists and their repertoire such as Megan Thee Stallion, Mary J. Blige, Shaggy, Gunna, Fetty Wap, Highly Suspect and Migos in addition to his own roster of indie writers and artists. This brought early exposure to the marketplace for hit songs like “Savage,” “Trap Queen,” “Bad and Boujee” and more!
At Big Yellow Dog, he spearheaded the company’s rise as a leader in Film/TV music. Within two years he secured hundreds of sync placements annually for Grammy-winning artists like Meghan Trainor, Maren Morris, Daniel Tashian, and Josh Kear, alongside independent talent. Currently, as co-owner and Head of Creative at The Bus Music and Underground Mix, His collective work has resulted in over 15,000 sync placements across all media platforms.
As a recognized expert in copyright, sync strategy, and sub-publishing, Devon has shared his insights at Belmont University, MTSU, TSU, and Oakwood University as well as The Wall Street Journal. He has also contributed to industry panels and committees, including The Spot Festival (Denmark), the Music Biz Conference, and the Nashville Film Festival.
Becki DeVries has built a vast and diverse 27 year career in the industry as an accomplished Emmy Nominated Singer, Songwriter, Artist Developer as well as co-owner/ founder of The Bus Music and Underground Mix where she leads creative for the writers and artists. Her vocal production / session singing credits include: Hilary Duff, Amy Grant, Delta Goodrem, LeAnn Rimes, American Idol TV series, NBC Today Show Theme (Emmy Nominated) and many others. She has written, custom produced, and sang on national and international ad campaigns. Including Tresemme, Atlantis Resorts, KFC, Dove and many others. She has also had a litany of her songs in TV Shows, major motion pictures, Film Trailers and Promos. Amassing to over 300 individual placements to her songwriting credit.
Her career is entrenched with major record producers and songwriters. Becki has also done many "one off" live background vocal gigs for artists of all kinds in varying genres. She has also signed and developed talent into major record deals such as Bailey Bryan (Warner Brothers/300 Entertainment), Cain (Provident / Sony), Martin Jasper (PIAS), SVRCINA (Singles with Cloud 9, Universal Germany), and dnk. (Red One). She has developed more than 50 successful independent artists in the sync landscape who have garnered well over 5000 placements. Thus establishing the model and need for artist and writer development and mentoring.
